I'm preparing for my AutumnTour of Germany and the Netherlands.
I will be doing a Songwriter Workshop in Driesborg/NL close to the German border,

The tour starts the 22 September and begins in with five concerts in Berlin together
with fantastic singersongwriter Markus Rill, just out with a new album.

Alain Vande Putte in Belgium for some, hopefully, astonishing co-writes...!
Oldenburg, Kiel, Bremerhaven, Osnabruck and Holland are next in line after that.

Holmhällar, Gotland. In late May, she participates in a poetry festival in
Jersey to then go to the gigs in Edinburgh, Wales and
Manchester. In early July, it's time for the annual
Regular singer / songwriter festival in Visby. By now it has

In Lauterbach I was met by friend and fellow songwriter Markus Leidig, who so graciously had booked this concert for me at The Casino 2010. It was à blast! À packed place with candles and fires, great sound by Ralf from The Oyster Studio - where Markus and I recorded harmony vocals on our cowritten song "little Swallow"" - and a
Great appreciative audience. Wonderful.

I had à great start on The Germany/NE tour! Last night I played The Prinz Willy am Hotel Maritime in Kiel- and what à funky place! Like stepping right into an episode of Baretta or à Bond- movie...shaken not stirred...made me feel right at home! Also , The lovely Prinz- Mr Willy that is- and his bartender Soon to be Doctor- Julia-
Took really good care of me and it was à lovely room to play. I did 2 sets and some all new songs, like " To Long To Go" and "Mountain to climb" (cowritten
Lyrics with Markus Rill) which went over really well, i was pleased!
Oh these firesouls! I am so thankful for people lika Willy and The Big musiclover Berndt- who does House Conserts- they do such difference to artists like me.
I am having à wonderful brealfast - from a choosing table huge as The
Kiel lake outside The Windows - and then off for Göttingen and Home town Soul Cafe !

currently working a lot with her
collegues, Bittis Jakobsson and Annelie Roswall, in a trio called ABA.
They released a radiosingle called "Jag ville jag kunde"(Been there
done that)by Annika and Bo Ahlbertz. It has been on rotation on Swedish
radio since august. Another radiosingle "Jul hos mig"(Christmas with
me) was released in the middle of november. Both were released by the
Rootsylabel. Both were also produced by the famous producer Ollie Olson. |

releases of Fireflies. 7th of april in Malmö, the 9th in Visby13th
in Stockholm and the 16th in Gothenburg. |

"Stop" is the first
single from Annika Fehling's upcoming album "Fireflies". It will be
released in april 2010.
"Fireflies" is recorded and mixed in Nashville by Will Kimbrough
(Rodney Crowell, Jimmy Buffett, etc.) as producer.
Nashville signals, of course, that it is about country music, but it's
not in this case. Certainly there is country and americana influences,
but also a lot of other things. Not least, Annika has a feel for catchy
poprefrains who put their mark on the songs.
There are many great musicians on the record - Will Kimbrough, Bryan
Owings, Fats Kaplin, Tim Marks, Dave Jacques and Paul Griffith. On
"Fireflies" Annika is also visited by David Olney and Peter LeMarc.

by Will Kimbrough. He has collected a magnificent

I go on a tour of Germany 14-23 November,
along with my wonderful
fellow musician Emelie Jeremias on the cello / vocals (and sometimes
piano).
We start in Berlin, and then go to Hamburg, Wetzlar, Nienburg, Marburg,
Tuttlingen and Lörrach.
At the same time released compilationcd "Good for You 2.0" (Rootsy.nu /
GFYMusic) by In-Acoustics in Germany and Europe. Very exciting!

Its been a year filled with surprises, challenges and wonderful music.
All from the US-tours and the release of the acoustic album
"Visby,Texas"(Rootsy.nu),
to the new Sweden singer-songwriter Festival, magical Living Room
evenings in Stockholm and Visby,
the Xmas Show and tours of Germany, Denmark and Sweden, composing music
for theatre-plays, the Gotland Songwriters Retreat in May and new, cool
songs.
Some of my high points has been playing with Dana Cooper the Bluebird
Café in Nashville...twice!
My official showcase at Folk Alliance Conference in Memphis,packed with
people,was a fantastic experience,
as was playing National TV in Sweden. I thank the heavens for all new
and old friends along the way,
who helped and supported me, and the new venue at Wisby Hotel for my
SMF Living Room nights. So many great artists have now played there!
I recieved a prize from the Market and Export Association Gotland, that
was wonderful. I also got a prize from
ASCAP, and did some awesome House Concerts with awesome people.
I want to thank all of you who has come out to hear me play, sent me an
eMail to say hi, bought a CD or two, put me up in you home, taken well
care of me, arranged concerts and radioshows, and given me support and
encouragement. It helps me continue to write songs and play them for
the world.
It gives me hope and faith. Thank you!!

I am very excited to have been invited to play at the Belfast
Nashville Songwriter Festival in Belfast, Ireland, in February.
Two songs are newly recorded, "Muddy Heart" och "Lungs", together
with producer Tobias Froberg, a new and special sound, like merging the
roots with medieval scandinavian tunes..very exciting. The songs will
soon be posted on www.myspace.com/annikafehling
Living Room in Visby and in Stockholm continues, with fantastic
guestartists, I am hoping to get David Olney and Tom Kimmel
,amongst others, over soon..

Annika composes the music for Unga Roma's new familyplay
"Witches". The opening is June 27th on Visby Theatre.
LIVING ROOM SUMMER 07
The pieces are falling into place for the summer event of Living Room
Summer 07.
A lot of the artists are booked, check out the schedule here.
3 shows a week, from the South of Gotland (Halor Kultur) to the North
(Fårö SupéTheatre) and Visby of course.
Besides playing herself, Annika will present artists like Caroline
Aiken (USA),
Theresa Andersson (USA), Eugene Brosnan (IR), Mikael Rickfors (S), and
more.

Living Room Stockholm
As a continuatin of Annikas singer-songwriter event Living Room in
Visby and Halor, there is now a Living Room Stockholm as well.
Downstairs
in the pub Big Ben on Folkungagatan in the middle of Stockholm Annika
plays
once a month and presents 2 - 3 guests. Next show is the 24th of April,
with
guests Roar Amundsen (DK) , Sanna Carlstedt, and Emeli Jeremias from
Stockholm.
The spring season ends with a Living Room/Listening Room Concert the
28th of May. In May, Annika plays a concert in Berlin, Germany, with
Mckinley Black. Listening Room International Songwriters Retreat
Gotland 2007
Annika organises the annual Songwriters Retreat 13-20 May 2007
together with partners Brett Perkins and Eva
Hillered.
About 20 songwriters meet and work on new songs for a week in
Gotland. Two concerts are held at the Pensionat Holmhällar, the
18th and
19th of May.

Gotland Listening Room International Songwriters Retreat 2007 is on for
May 13 -20
I am excited to come to the U.S again!
I played with Dana Cooper at the Blue Bird Café on Tuesday the
20th of Feb, opening for Jesse
Winchester. It was like an inofficial release for the brand new CD that
I and
Dana recorded last fall in Visby, Sweden. We had a day in the studio,
recorded 14 songs
in six hours (!) and chose ten for the album, called "Visby,Texas"
Due to be released in August 07 in the States, we will still bring some
pre-copies
for the occasion.Playing the Blue Bird has been a dream of mine for
some years, and I am
so proud and honored for the opportunity to play there!

I attended the Folk Alliance Conference
in Memphis Meriott Hotell 21-25 of Feb. It was WILD!
I have never experinced anything like it. Wonderful to be amongst so
many talented songwriters and people sharing the same passion.
Thankyou everyone who came to see and support me!
Going on tour in Texas with Dana Cooper, we will start off in Dallas
and play some great places, like Anderson Fair
in Houston, The Gruene Hall in New Braunsfeld and Cinema 218 in
Texarkana. I am pleased to come back to
these places, and play some new. Check toursection for the dates!
Another new and good thing is that the singer-songwriter club SFM
Living Room I arrange on Gotland (the Swedish island
where I live) also is opening in Stockholm! Dana Cooper, Tom Kimmel,
Rex Foster, Brett Perkins, David Zink, Tom Cunningham,
Andy Fite and Amber Rubarth are all Americans that have played the SFM
Living Room, and I hope to have
more wonderful artists there.
Since Gotland is such an extraordinary place for creating, I organize
the Gotland Listening Room International
Songwriters Retreat 2007 there, for the 4th year, together with
partners Eva Hillered and Brett Perkins.

| Annika is back again after an absloutely
marvellous time in the US!
The tour with Dana Cooper in Texas and Nashville TN, was
fantastic, with highlights at the beginning, kicking off at the
Kerrville
Wine& Music Festival and ending with standing ovations in Texarkana.
Thank you everyone along the way for all the support and lovely warm
meetings!
The Nashville experience with an in-the-round at Lyrix
and a House Concert at
Tom Kimmels beautiful tree house, and the intense Americana Conference,
was also
great.
An ending visit to New York, that crazy wonderful place,
and a gig at the Marions
Marquee was a good finale.
Thank you everyone, who helped make this US tour
such a lovely wonderful experience!
All you people who came out to listen, bought CD:s, put us up in your
homes, supported and
encouraged, put together the concerts, wrote and promoted. You are so
important!
NEW RECORDING
There's been a big request for a recording of the duo-songs that also
are co-written
for the most part Annika Fehling - Dana Cooper.
Good news - they will work in the studio in Sweden in October.
Some of the songs are: Live it Up, Heart of the Garden, Good for You,
Seamless, My Life, Come Down
from your house on the hill, No Waterwell, and maybe an all new 3-way
cowrite with Sally Barris called
Back Off.
TOUR Sweden/Denmark OCTOBER
So, not quite 2 weeks, and Annika goes on the road again with fellow
roadwarrior Dana Cooper!
This time its Sweden and Denmark that they will play and doing
Workshops , starting in Stockholm the 15th of October,
teaming up with friends Brett Perkins and Rex Foster at Agueli, and via
Visby, Uppsala, Vasteras
they go to Denmark and Copenhagen, Esbjerg, Jystrup and back to Malmoe,
Sweden, ending with

Annika is doing a tour in Texas and Nashville with

16 concerts lies ahead from Kerrville September 2nd

P4 Extra together with Emeli Jeremias Annika has a full booked
summer with TV, radio and conserts in Sweden and on Gotland.In August
she will be going to Denmark for conserts and the Songwriters Retreat on
Samsö, Aug 14-23USA-tour coming up!
Annika will be touring in the US in september 05, opening

concerts in Berlin and in Prague with International artists in June.

Room International Songwriters Retreat Gotland 2005 with
partners Brett Perkins and Eva Hillered. Its on May 15 - 22 2005
