Annika Fehling is a performing and recording Swedish singer-songwriter living in Visby, capital city of the magical Swedish island GOTLAND.

With her exhuberant guitar style, heartfelt songs sung in a voice both passionate and tender, and international touring, she continues to build an enthusiastic following around the world.

Annika grew up with a love of music and was greatly influenced by her father, the jazz piano player Clas Fehling. After a successful career as an actress in films, TV, and theatre, she returned to her music with the 1996 album “JazzFehlings”; critically acclaimed in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Japan.

Several years and albums later, Annika has established herself as a leading performing songwriter in the international community, celebrated in her recently released 'Best of' compilation CD 'Annika Fehling - Good For You', which has met with both critical and commercial success.

Collaboration with friend singer-songwriter Eva Hillered led to Annika and Eva performing and recording the CD “Fehling/Hillered LIVE”. Together they also formed the organization Singer-Songwriters of Sweden (SSOS). Being involved in the singer-songwriter networks and Songwriters Retreats , they teamed up with ex-American songwriter and presenter Brett Perkins and created the Gotland International Songwriters Retreat, that runs a week in May every year. At the Samsoe.Retreat 2004 Annika met and wrote with American artist Dana Cooper. As a result, Annika were invited to tour with him and co-write in the USA March 2005. In exchange, Dana came over to Europe for a tour in May.

"Happy on the Red" was realeased in 2005, produced by one of Sweden's finest and most renown producer,
Lasse Englund. This inspiring collection of 11 original songs features tracks written with Irish writers John Hurley and Philip Donnelly. It made it great on National radio and TV, and is now distributed through Europe. Annika did both European and American tours in support of "Happy on the Red"

Since then, Annika has been doing several tours in the USA. Dana Cooper came over for a exchange tour of Scandinavia in October 2006. A record of their co-written songs "Visby-Texas" was released in 2007.

She teamed up with the indie record company Rootsy and Hakan Olsson, and in 2006 her 7th album was released, the compilation "Best of Annika Fehling - Good for You", with 2 brand new tracks, co-written with Dana Cooper. An up to date compilation was released in 2008 - "Best of Annika Fehling - Good for You 2.0 ".

Kirk Boyer, Lyric Street Records

Lars Schill, GA

”Annika Fehling is a courageous and eager singer that dares to give a damn about the vocal conventions”.
Hans Fridlund, Expressen

Dan Backlund, Svenska Dagbladet

”Intimate singing is Annikas specialty. She’s skillful in expressing what is inside and what
is soulful. Her voice is seductively expressive and flexible”.
Juris Martinsson, Sala Allehanda

”We’ve heard of songs as weapons, but here it’s more a question of songs as a fast-healing ointment for your wounds. Annika Fehling has taken on writing music with roots in pop, jazz and folk. She clearly shows her mastery in whatever she takes on”.
